However, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has found that despite the current economic climate, organisations are increasingly investing in coaching and training, with growth recorded over the last three years from 49% in 2009 to 52% 2012. The research also finds that around 16% of organisations are using external companies to help them achieve this task.
